Kelly Jones founded Preferred Tax Consultants in 1982 as a tax and accounting firm offering services in Fort Wayne Indiana and surrounding areas in the Midwest.  In 1991, Jones became a licensed registered representative; permitting him to provide investments to clientele.  To adequately define the company and provided services; in 2005, the firm's name changed to Preferred Financial Group, Inc. 

2008 brought about expansion, adding Tim Huber as Preferred's second partner.  Increasing again in 2015, Josh Scott became the newest partner to join the organization. These partnerships contribute additional knowledge and experience involving insurance planning and finances.  Preferred Financial Group Inc., expanded the firm August of 2016; opening an additional office in South Bend, Indiana.

Currently, our practice manages over $250 million in client assets and processes more than 1,400 personal and corporate tax returns.  The opportunity of having a Registered Representative provides clients with the unique benefit of receiving tax and investment guidance.
